Miss Cox began her professional training at the age of 15 at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts making her the youngest female to have ever been accepted into the graduate course. This training then lead her to dance with the west Australian Ballet from there she developed even further with combined training from The Australian Ballet School, The Royal Ballet School in London, The Graduate College of Dance and John Curtin College of the Arts thus leading her to dance for The Moulin Rouge in Paris.
Abigail began her dance training at Gylnd Place School of Dance in West Sussex, England where she completed her RAD training in modern & tap. As a younger teen, she found her passion for Musical Theatre after joining StageCoach UK. Abigail completed her vocal and drama examinations with StageCoach which then lead to her being accepted into the acclaimed BRIT School of Performing Arts, London. Abigail has been cast in numerous theatre productions across the UK and after taking some time away from the stage to raise her family, she is excited to be back sharing her passion for teaching Musical Theatre with the Perth dance community.
Amy specializes in contemporary and ballet having started her professional training at 15 years of age with the National College of Dance in Newcastle. Amy was then accepted in to Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company in Israel under the direction of Rami Be’er; following Israel, Amy received a position at the Polski Teatr Tanca where she was provided the opportunity to travel Europe and China perfecting the art and showing the world her talents. Now at JLC, Amy works alongside Jess providing even more first class experience and knowledge to the JLC Faculty.
Matt started his dancing career at a young age locally in WA, he excelled within his classes and received a successful application to the John Curtin College of arts where he received performer of the year. After John Curtin matt went on to further train at the West Australian Academy of performing arts (WAAPA) where he trained for 3 and half years and participated in a number of performances. Matt has also received a number of lead and ensemble roles with The Ian Charles Westrip Performing Arts Association (CATS, Macavity), STEPS Youth Dance Company, Bent Knee Creative and John Curtin College of the Arts. Matt has successfully taught and choreographed at a number of dance studios across western Australia.
Matthew Manning has been training in Musical Theatre, Dance and Vocal Technique since 2010. In 2011, he made his professional debut in the cast of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang at Crown Theatre, Perth. Since then, he has been involved in theatre and the arts in many different capacities including technical, performance and creative roles. In 2020, he completed his Diploma of Music Theatre at The Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) and is currently completing his Bachelor of Music Theatre (WAAPA).
Vicki has worked as a professional teacher for the last 20 years at a number of establishments, she is fully qualified and registered with the Royal Academy of Dance, Glenwood Tap and CSTD Contemporary programs. Vicki is a highly motivated individual who has dedicated her life to providing a safe, fun and educational environment for her students.
